i've heard 10 systems now that use e-design subs, and i am very impressed. that's why i'm installing one in my good friend's car. if they weren't good, i wouldn't have told him to get one
now if you people would please get off your mainstream audio dick sucking contest and try new brands you will be very suprised to see what "no-name" brands can do
i can say i've personally tried almost every big name brand, and probably 10+ off brands. not to mention heard hundreds of subs. i mean no disrespect to 1st mp3, cause i know you know your s***, but all you ever recommend is JL
not everyone gets a discount on them, so we find other brands that work just as good, if not better. and it will be tough to find a pro installer using ED cause of the sponsorships they can get through using the brands the store sells, and you will never find ED in a store. which is another reason people haven't heard of them. and i've see 8 different vehicles using ED for comps, both SQ and SPL. and to date i've only seen one bad comment made about ED subs, and that was because it cracked, which was a manufacturing defect, which they will cover for 3 years, not 1 year like JL, which drops to 90 days if you install it yourself. (protest)

(k)(flame2)I suggest Jl simply becuase they are versital, very well built, hard to make sound bad, and backed up by one of the best companies in the buisness. Not to mention sound the best per there retail price compared to other retail prices.
ED and Adire may make good subs, I'm not arguing that. However I will not stake my reputation on an internet company and suggest them.
You don't get sponsorship through stores you just get discounts. If Adire or ED were intelligent they would be sponsoring serious compeditors to use there product. Until they do they aren't going to get a better rep.

who lied to you about getting sponsorships from working at a store? i know a dozen installers that got all their equipment paid for cause they were sponsored by a brand they carried. no discount, straight up free don't worry, i know JL has some of the best subs on the market. and i comend JL for keeping the quality up over the years, unlike many other brands. but who really still buys stuff at retail prices? the people who generally don't know crap about car audio, and go to the local shop and get ***** on paying retail prices, then $40+ per hour for install. that's fine for the majority of the population, but for people who are educated in car audio, that will never happen. do you pay retail? do you pay top dollar for your install? i really hope not

After all, who would want to sponsor some guys car if it looked or sounded like s*** when their products were used, but used incorrectly or wired wrong.
