I commute with my 2 about 100 miles a day and i've had the car less than month and I have already noticed a deep rock dings. Who has had the clear bra put on? Where and how much? Reccomendations?

i had one on my 01 tiburon i used to own. it really is not that noticeable. and makes a major difference. the car actually got totaled in a front in accident, and it saved the paint, even though the metal was all bent to hell. so it works pretty good. lol

The Lamin-x site has a lot of products for the 2, including a clear bra. I've never used any of there products, but after browsing though their site I've decided to pick up a set of yellow covers for my fog lights. For about $20.00 I'll have a fun little mod to do to my 2.

I'm a little leary of the lack of shine from the clear bra but for fog lights it seems to be a lot cheaper than buying the yellow bulbs.

I bought a roll of 12" wide 3M film and did my hood myself...much cheaper than buying a DIY kit and looks just as good. I ended up with some scrap that I applied to the front door sills to protect from shoe scrapes. There are a bunch of tutorials online, it's not very hard to apply.

How does it look? Any less glossy? I love how my white pearl shines at night and im worried it would be too obvious.

Looks about the same level of glossiness, to me at least. You can only notice the film when you're fairly close, and only at certain angles. Can't say how it would work with pearlcoat since mine is Aquatic Blue, but the 3M stuff has been around for a long time so I'd imagine they've tweaked it to be as "invisible" as possible.
