323 got hit.

I got hit in Chicago today at Racine and Taylor. Taking a turn and got hit right on the front. 323 is out for a while. Sucks. I'll post pics later. Nobody got hurt or anything and I'm taking everything pretty well considering I'm out of a car. Oh well, s*** happens.

if the cops didnt say who was at fault nobody gets paid

I got hit by a '86 Lincoln Towncar, so of course, I came out worse in this accident. (second)

I already filed a claim and everything. The only way that I wouldn't have to pay for the repairs are if she is at fault. I have liability.

I'm not sure whos info they took first, but out of Unit 1 and Unit 2 on the report, I'm (first).

It really sucks, but it's just a car and nobody got hurt which is the most important thing. She ran a yellow after it appeared she was slowing down so I thought I was good to go, guess not.

Not sure about IL fault laws and s*** like that.

Your description of the events makes it sound more like you're at fault for not yielding to oncoming traffic. If it was a red light it'd obviously be different. So be careful how you state what happened in the official reports

explain "ran a yellow" ?? because i thought you could still go through when it was yellow and have to stop for red.. I hope it all works out for you though.

You're only supposed to go through a yellow if there is no way for you to stop, IE in the middle of the intersection.
