31 more mpg? 35 more HP?

Man I have serious doubts that does a damn thing. If anything I'd think 1% may be wishful thinking.

I'd love to be wrong, but I'd have to see it to believe it.

However, it's only 8 bucks, which is lunch so it's not a great loss if it's BS. Try it and see what happens.

its a scam piece... it doesnt work.

if you want to do something good with that 8 dollars, go buy a gift for toys for tots. youd get much more value and satisfaction from your money that way.

the idea "in theory" sounds decent, but the reality is most engines mix/burn air/fuel mixtures at a near 99% rate anyway. the other 1% is usually caused by heat (or a horrible tune, which this would not solve).

just because it "fits" where they tell you to put it doesnt mean it works. Id even go as far as to say all that device does is impede incoming air.

Let's see: a 25 cent piece of aluminum that will probably autodestruct itself and make its way into the intake path. I wonder what tiny pieces of metal will do to your engine.

By the way, I saw a similar eBay auction for this Vortex crap last year, and on that auction they claimed that shifting would be smoother on automatic transmissions. Guess they removed that bullcrap on this newer eBay auction.

Skip. Don't you think that all the auto manufacturers would add this to every car in order to improve their mileage if it really worked?

It's one of those sounds to good to be true things...once the "spinning vortex of air" hits the air intake valve or "slams" into the air intake valve it become nothing more than air. It might by way of surface friction actually cause the air to become heated and even slow down. Toys for Tots as someone mentioned; good idea.
