The cars 3 days old and I got a bad paint chip on the front fender. No surprise considering Winnipeg streets are dirty and FKed all year long...

I want to get a clear bra (the 3m stone guard clear stuff) for my car. The only dealer in town I could find was AutoTrim. (they call their stuff stone guard), but cannot supply because they are having problems with their supplier(s).

Can anyone recommend an installer in town?

For a clear bra contact AutoTrim 1325 Dugald Rd 237-8903. Ask for Rob, they can get the MSP front bumper, hood, fender and headlight film.

For touch up paint, go to Rondex at 177 Isabel and give them the following number 0000880154 followed by the colour match number found on the drivers side door frame. Mine was 26s (Blazing Yellow)

I'll be at the club meet Sunday (Hooters). I'll have the car with me, if you make it there you can see first hand.

They (autoTrim) are doing it tomorrow, Friday. Full front bumper, fenders, mirrors and leading edge of hood. Price $480.00 + taxes.

Hey Guys Ya My car has several good nicks and scratches on the hood mostly already as well its only 5 months old. Is there a difference between the stone guard and the 3m clear bra? Out of interest how much would a paint job cost to just fix up the nicks and scratches?

i just called it stone guard. i am not sure what its called. so if there is a difference i am not sure what they are.

if your looking for a 3M clear film protectant, there are several companies to choose from, auto trim installed mine which they ordered from USA company. to be honest, i'm not that happy with it and i would suggest you look around before buying.

painting is not a good option for me because i have the blazing yellow metallic paint which is applied in a 3 stage process, difficult to match and expensive as hell. maybe your car would be cheaper to paint, but at $400 for a clear bra i dont think painting will be cheaper.
