I have a P5. I will be replacing the stock exhaust with a MSP catback exhaust later in the week.

I want to replace the 2nd cat with straight piping.... I want the straight pipe to have flanges on it so i can remove or install the pipe as needed are there any kits available?? All i want is a straight pipe with flanges on it.

If not where can i get the flanges to have someone weld them onto a cut piece of exhaust...

I spoke to some muffler people here and they flat out refused to make any exhaust piece to replace the 2nd cat. I even used the "I will only be using it for racing" bit and still no go.

So i guess i have to get sneaky if i can get the flanges and the piping and get someone to weld it at the right length I may be able to get it to work

Check out www.wagnermotorsports.net there you can find what your looking for in the product section where they sell both a straight pipe w/o a cat and a straight pipe w/ a hi-flow cat.

you can get a "turboback" exhaust for an msp it will bolt right up to your first cat and the catback and will be a straightpipe that will bolt in. or you can go all out and get a racing mazda header and a test pipe then you have no cats

Wagner has the piece you want.. he is located in york, PA.

Where in the philly area you from?? Im a lil north in bucks county.

thanks

A little pricey though....was hoping to pay a little less then 175

this is a good option for a sedan.. but the msp exhaust is longer then the P5 so modifications would need to be done. plus turbo back exhaust seem to be very pricey

probally about 30mins or so.. There is another member on here from the montgomery area with a silver P5.. If you are talking about the big meet in April i will be there.

Also the price for the wagner midpipe is for a stainless version... dont quote me on this but he could probally make it out of mild steel for cheaper, but it wouldnt hold up as well against the weather. Stainless is very expensive.

Cool... hopefully see you there... If they can decide on what day it's going to be on. I was wondering why it was so expensive now i know

thanks

yea it is pricey, but the msp is only longer at the tip, all the other components are the same length (for example, the exhaust hangars are in the same place front and back)
