I am curious to know what YOU would do to reach 250-300hp. List the name of mods and prices and why you choose this. I am very interested to hear your different types of ways to reach this! Let it begin!

Start at the intake and end at the muffler, and make sure the air has the least amount of restriction possible (bigger is not always better). Cool your intake charge properly. MPI or AEM, strengthen everything that gets extra stress from extra HP. GT28rs. set at 15psi. 50 shot of NOS(evil)

Built MAM Shortblock
MAM Revised Street Sleeper Turbo Kit
Spec Hybrid Clutch
Corksport Exhaust
Haltech ECU and 440cc injectors

and this will cost how much?????

ohh and how did you get your greddy profec b 2 to work. Ive heard a couple of people have had some problems with it

a lot. but you pay to play.

block: around $3000
turbo kit: around $4000
clutch $399 i think?
haltech and injectors: $1699
Exhaust: $399

but after the intial investment.. you should be pretty well taken care of for the mods... every bit of that equipment is top notch.

i totally understand you pay to play.....it will be nice to see when one of the fellow mazda forum member(s) break 450-500!

450-500 is an insane amount for a protege. i hope to be around 300-350. soon to make additional head mods that will support 400whp. I want about 275-325whp daily.

Yea... 300whp and anyone riding in your car will be hanging to the "oh s***" handle for dear life.

my personal steps:
1) sell car
2) buy evo
3) be able to drive it for years without major problems or a rebuild, and if any problems come up they can be fixed under warranty.

PM blkzoomzoom he will tell you how to do it for 4 dollars. and stay stock.

thats not true... Foucs's last dyno sheet put him at 325whp... and hes not even close to done.

so pretty much for around 6-8k you will be able to run 300-350hp safely...hmmmmm
in theory. when you deal with a lot of highly modified stuff, it's very possible that something will go wrong and "safe" might not happen
