245/40/18 on a 18x8 +38 rim fit

Do you think with a +42 I could get away with 235/40/18 on stock suspension with out rolling the fenders?

you'd probably rub a little on sharp turns and whatnot.
Good news, no rubbing whatsoever on stock suspension. The guys at Discount Tire wanted to test fit a 245/40/18 or 245/45/18 but they didn't have any used ones laying around. They were sure they could fit the 245/40/18 without major rubbing, but I didn't want to push my luck. Anyways I like the wider tire look.

i have 18x8 +38 245/40zr18 also. i have stock suspension right now with bc coilovers waiting to be put on. but yea. on stock suspension after a little rolling of the rear fenders and NO rubbing at all. no where front or rear. full lock. fully tested in races. perfect setup. if you BC coilovers im not sure but he says it works so im gonna do it :p
heres pics of mine. i love these wide tires!

I just put EVO GSR wheels and tires on mine 245 40 18 with a 38 offset. I have the Eibach Sportlines on am I am rubbing. Guess I need to roll the fenders. It sure does handle nice though! I will get better pics this weekend.
