cai, fmic, dp-back exhaust, 440 injectors, afc, dynotuned at 14psi.

dynoed on a mustang dyno at modified motorsport in harrisburg on 6/24/05. temp was in around the 90s.

this dynosheet is of my 2nd to last run. on my last run i made 261whp but they didn't print that one out.

sorry the quality isn't the best. no scanner so i took a picture.

looks like that b/c he smoothed out the lines. dunno why its all spikey but it was 2x worse before he smoothed it out.

edit: he did mention my boost wouldn't hold 14psi steady, it would rapidly fluctuate b/t 13-14psi all the way up to redline.

What was your AF during the runs? Good power but if you could change timing you'd prob pick up another 10whp. I'm glad to see the SS-AFC doing well at 14psi.

looks like you made it to 230 plus but not quit 240... still a very fun number...makes car lotta fun!

good numbers, I am also pleasantly surprised the AFC is doing so well at that psi...Would changing timing only help tune more hp out of the car or is it also a preventive measure against blowing the engine?

on the run of the dynosheet, my AF were mostly 11-12 after 3krpm but dropped to 8 around 6k and up. they had a hell of a time trying to adjust the fuel w/ my 440cc and the r4 software. it was either too much fuel or not enough.

on my last run i got perfect 11-12 all across the boards and it resulted in 261whp. no dynosheet to prove it tho, so i'm jus sticking to 243.

By looking at the numbers on the side of the sheet it looks alot like 242.92 to me unless I am blind.

it was 242.92 whp, i just rounded it up to 243. the reason it looks like 230ish was because they smoothed out the hp curve on the computer to make it easier on the eyes to read.

You should have them re-scale the torque curve and print it out for you again.
its going backon the dyno in about a month so they can monitor the AF when its cooler out so i'll get them to rescale it next time.

sweet kicker! let me know if you need any help with tuning the a/fs and those injectors...we tuned a map for a set of 440s and it wasnt fun...pulse widths are not an exact match and tend to do funky things at lower rpms...

time.

thats very nice. i wasn't really talking about your a/f's though, because they DO look good. i'm just saying there is probably some power to make from timing changes, but you never really know what the stock ecu is throwing out until you try lol

those injectors were driving the tuners insane too but they did eventually get it right.

yeah mine car is doing funky things at lower rpms too. it'll bogs/hessitates for a little bit when its goes from vacumme to boost at partial throttle. he warned me about this and told me to try to avoid low psi, and try to go full boost if possible when accelerating.

if you got sometime to fix that, i'm definately interested.

oic, my bad i read it wrong. yeah youre probably right but unfortunely i don't have anything to alter timing. nevertheless, i'm still very happy w/ what i put down even w/o timing control. i feel i'm already pushing my rods to the limit as is so i'm not sweating the few extra ponies i'm missing out on.
