225 45 18 Tires onto 2010 MS3?

Will 225 45 18s fit into the wheel arches of the 2010 MS3? I have loacted a good deal on some winter tires, but want to be sure the slightly larger profile will fit. This will also throw out the Speedometer a little, but I don't know by how much. Any thoughts?

Will fit, I've got 235/40/18 on mine and wish I would of went with 245's plenty of room.

The circumference of 225/45R18s is 3.5% greater than 225/40R18s, so that'll be your speedometer and odometer error.

Which is a 2mph difference at 60.
