As per my previous post here: CX-5 2024 from Japan - Changing TAU, I have a 2024 CX-5 (non-Bose) from Japan looking to replace the CMU (as it's now called from what I gathered). I found a replacement on the web with this part number KDTS66DR0H pulled out of a 2023 and when asked the seller claimed that the same CMU is used both for the Bose and non-Bose-equipped editions of the car.
Can anyone confirm this or is there a chance I'm being scammed into buying a possibly not compatible unit relating to car's year and sound system type?
