I was reading on another thread and they were saying that the blue connector all the way on the left is actually can bus optical audio from the Bose head unit to the Bose amp. The connections that we are tapping into/on are the outputs to the speakers, etc.

😔
Correct. So you'll also probably need something to clean up the signal.

Lc2ipro I installed with the JBL a600 amp (which helped add more bass) but the LC2ipro helped the most with bass roll off and adding bass down low (15-25 degrees on the volume notches).

Also, I had to turn off center point. Go from standard to linear in the audio settings in the center display->audio settings. I will take a picture later. Otherwise it drives the Bose amp to hot and causes the Bose amp into protection mode when listening to bass heavy songs.

Audio just went out on my 2021 CX-5 signature. Dealership says I need a new amp and wants $2200. Can someone like Best Buy replace with better/cheaper? TIA

Is it a Bose system? If so, the amp cannot just be relaced except with another Bose one. However, Best Buy or a Car Audio store can probably replace your entire system for a lot less than $2200!

However, I would suggest you take it to another shop and get a second opinion. I think it unlikely the amp just failed. More likely a connector/wiring issue.

I thought I heard it change on a bass heavy song. I shall swap to Linear as you have suggested. I was so confused on why it was doing that.
