2016.5 CX-5 Keyless Ignition Light Stays Lit in Red.

The keyless ignition light on the dash is red when you step on the brake pedal and stays lit in red when driving the car. Nothing in the manual about how to reset it other than go to the dealer. On my way to the dealer wouldn't you know the red light went away! This happened last month but I went to the dealer anyway to replace the key fob batteries. The problem is now back - staying lit in red (not flashing) when driving the car.
Also, maybe a related issue: When you walk away from the car the door locks would auto engage. Now that function is intermittent as well.
The car has 3,000 km (2,000 miles app) on it.

The car is no doubt throwing codes with all these flashing lights and those are stored in the computer for subsequent reading/diagnostics. You should have continued on to the dealer so he could have read the code (regardless of whether the light was on or not) and corrected the problem.

Thanks - I will see the dealer at the earliest. Actually, I did go to the dealer as scheduled (as I mentioned earlier) even with the light off and they didn't say they will check the code. Next time I will insist they check it.
