Mazda 3i Touring sedan 2015
Hello Folks,

Bought my 2015 Mazda 3 iTouring sedan in Feb. LOVE IT!
Driving home from work the following day I had to brake quickly on an interstate. My speed was approx. 60mph.
The car shook and vibrated and the break pedal felt like it was dropping and vibrating. Brought in in for service the following day. Rusty rotors from being stationary so long on the lot. Cleaned the rotors etc. Two days later the same occurrence. Brought it back to service and they replaced the rotors with new ones. Breaking issued fixed. ( had no doubt they would) Since day one I hear a slight thump like sound when going over a speed bump slow, turning into my driveway, coming down the indoor garage and at the landing where the road straightens I hear that thump. Brought back to my dealer service dept. They test drove it, also had some concern about the road noise. A bit excessive on the highway. They said road noise could be the "bridgestone tires." However they couldn't diagnose the thump although admitted they hear it. They documented for Mazda corp to see as well and my records. I think on the highway that's part of the noise. Something in the LEFT front end. Heard it again today. Any open ideas would be well appreciated? Breaking my mazda heart...... Really LOVE this car.
Let me hear from you.... Tony afc219@aol.com

Yesterday as I was driving to work, the Info screen brightened just before the brake pedal vibrated as I was braking. A symbol of some sort briefly appeared on the dash. It felt as if the emergency handling control feature was cycling. Most cars' electro-mechanical components are rarely "exercised". Perhaps our cars go through an exercise routine every so often? I don't recall hearing or feeling a thumping sound.

O did hear a thumping noise for a couple of weeks.
I thought I had busted a shockie already, but it went away. Maybe something is just breaking in and it will eventually go away.
