The SCCA track record in B-Spec for Mazda Raceway is a 2:00 something something in the same fit Michael Tsay is entered in which I know can be beaten, I have seen faster times done.

One model missing from the list is the Mini which a local to the track guy is finishing up his qualifications to be able to race at the runoffs. That will make 8 cars and all different makes. I expect the impound at the end of the national race to be one crazy place.

It'll be interesting to race against the Fords and Chevys, haven't seen one on track yet so that'll be fun. Can't believe the track record is 2:00 minutes though, wasn't Grand Am doing 1:52s back in 2012?

They should be live on http://www.speedcasttv.com/scca/ again this year. I don't think a network will pick it up.

Sure hope you guys can find a few more cars, would be a shame to not be racing for a championship.

I did a 1:55 a few years back in the sister car to Bobby's, and that was carrying a passenger, so it should be close to the current BS weight. I don't think a 53 is out of the question for the Chevy, but the rest of your are screwed.

I seem to recall this coming up before. If you don't ask for it you have a 100% chance of not getting it.

74hp with a base weight of 1900lbs. I'd hazard a guess it would need a supercharger or turbo to get the 100ish hp the rest of the field has.

Yea, someone is making a turbo for it, .5 bar of boost so far. It's something I have time to research; I won't be buying for 1-2 years. Not only will I be able to get a good deal on a 2013/14 aftermarket will be more developed than it already is.

Thanks, I saved it this time. I guess there wouldn't be much point in submitting right now because specifications may change when I get one. Maybe one day a CX-5 will show up at an event with a Space Star In tow lol.

I checked in the Michael the Fit Driver signed up and he mentioned he expected the other Honda Fit that races in Cali to sign up. That leaves 1 more to get the minimum 10 requirement.
