2014 CX-5 Sport
Just bought a 2014 Sport, and it's miles above my CX-7 was in terms of ride, handling, road noise, etc. The only mild annoyance, and it's only mild to me because I can still listen to music and the phone functionality works fine, is the nuances of connectivity.

I use my iphone 5 for all of my connectivity (phone and music) and my complaint is regarding mainly the "starting from the beginning" issue on BT and USB, the lack of usable functions with BT ("folder" buttons do nothing, repeat/shuffle/scan buttons are greyed), and the long "ipod loading" times upon startup. I don't know if there's something to be done about my music not starting from where I left off. I probably won't switch to a standard iPod that I leave "always connected," so, there's that. I've tried that with the phone and it didn't seem to work.

I believe, though I can't find anything definite, that the computer is running AVRCP 1.3, and 1.4 is better and is what's supported by my phone. I'm under the impression that 1.4 would allow for better BT functionality.

My question is, what is the reality of being able to update the software/firmware to improve the functionality/connectivity?
