2012 Mazda5 Sport: OEM wheels/tires, Corksport Power Series Intake, strut tower bar

I've been wanting to get pictures for a while now, but it's been raining pretty much every day since I bought the car. Picked it up at the beginning of April and have already put 1500 miles on it. I like it so far but the OEM stereo is pretty poor. I wish I had sprung for the Touring now because I think I like the look better with the rear spoiler and side sill extensions, but I'm not unhappy with the appearance. I think I'll be tinting the windows in a few weeks. I'm glad I went with the Brilliant Black even though the Metropolitan Gray is a pretty color; I wanted a black interior and the Metropolitan Gray is only available with beige. Anyway, some info:

This is a bad shot of the car itself:

Here's a shot of the (dirty) OEM 16" wheels and tires that come on the Sport trim:

The tires, by the way, are 205/55R 16" Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02s.

I picked up a CorkSport Power Series Intake for a 2010 Mazda3 off of another forum used for cheap. I went ahead and installed it without knowing if it would fit the 5, but figuring it would. It does indeed fit the 5 just fine. I was going to order one from CorkSport that was black with a red filter but this one came in blue and black instead. Can't complain too much when you're saving so much money.

At idle, cruising, and at light load the intake sounds as quiet as stock. Under heavier loads you can hear it better, just as in its Mazda3 applications. I've driven the car several times today for various distances at different loads and I haven't (knock on wood) had a Check Engine Light yet, which I take as a good sign. While I was under the hood I got to looking at the engine bay and noticed that it looks like our firewall is mounted such that I don't think you can use a 2010 Mazda3 strut tower brace. I'm not sure because I don't have one to test but it looks like it protrudes into the bay right where the bar would go.

Anyone with a 2010+ Mazda3 and a strut tower brace want to comment on similarities between the firewalls and bar mounting?
