Last October I went to Best Buy to have an aftermarket remote start installed. I think the one I got is form Avital, have separate fob for remote start.

Everything works fine except when I unlock the door, the only door that is unlocked is the driver's door, no matter how many times I press the unlock
button on my Mazda fob. The only way to unlock the rest of the doors is to use the unlock button on the driver's side inside door panel.

Does anybody here have the same issue with aftermarket remote start system or the tech at BB just missed something. I plan to have them take a look at it but they are too busy this time of the year.

Do you have the "standard" mazda key fob package, or the tech package "advanced" keyless fob? We have the advanced setup, and after researching the whole remote start deal, I wouldn't even want to try the OEM and dealer installed remote start. There is all kinds of crazy procedures to follow like looping a signal wire around the ignition switch and other things to worry about with the key presence sensors...
