Can anyone enlighten me as to how to stop my nav from splitting the screen and showing me upcoming exit information every time I get on the interstate? This annoys me to no end...I don't care to know how many gas stations are coming up at the next 3 exits, and I want the entire screen to display the map. Thanks in advance.

When you are not in motion, you can access the navigation menu and change the settings. Consult the owners manual, and there are threads on this topic. Its not too hard. I think it's something like "show next exit" or "show next turn" or something like that.

Thanks. I've looked for the other threads, but don't see what you're talking about.

Ok, when I have some free time I will go through my owners manual and point you to the right page. Perhaps someone else can chip in who knows the button sequence to help this person out...

I have a 2012, but I assume the menus are the same for the 2011s. This is from memory, so the titles won't be identical:

Menu | Navigation Settings | User Settings

In that menu, you will see Map Colors, and the second or third item will show you the map type. You can have list, split screen, etc. That's the setting you want to change. You are set to the split screen view.

To turn off gas stations, that is in the POI menu. While the car is in Park, you can press the POI button on the bottom of the map screen and it probably will show you that the gas stations are being displayed (indicated as the icon in the top row of POIs being displayed). You can choose it to stop displaying.

Or if you didn't understand my descriptions, the manual probably describes it better.
