What else is there? Subaru killed the Legacy wagon and Merc killed both the C class and E class wagons. No more Mazda6 either.
Passat, Outback, Venza, Crosstour... All depends on what you want to consider a wagon. If I were labeling things, this list would be huge. Everything you were calling a CUV before? Wagons.
The Passat yes but the others are CUVs to me. Acura has a TSX sportwagon coming out.
As soon as somebody can tell me what the difference is between a CUV and a wagon, I'll stop thinking of a RAV4 as a wagon.

A crossover is a vehicle built on a car platform and borrowing features of a traditional Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
In contrast to traditional SUV's, which employ body on frame, crossovers employ a car's unibody construction. The crossover combines, in highly variable degree, design features from an SUV such as tall interior packaging, high H-point seating, high ground-clearance, or all-wheel-drive capability with design features from an automobile such as independent rear suspension, car-like handling and fuel economy.
Crossovers are typically designed for only light off-road capability, if any at all.
So high roof and seating position is the difference? Sorry kids, but that's a wagon.

back on topic to the EDGE is necessary
I'd rather have a proper station wagon or a minivan than the Edge.
I'm sure it does. My parents have a cx9 and while it's not quite as big as that (same platform, though, right?), I'd rather have a lower ride height and less weight, or sliding doors and a larger cabin.
