2011 CX-9 - Any Info

I read on edmunds.com's forum that the MPG rating has been raised by 1mpg on both FWD and AWD.
The poster works for a Mazda dealer (so very reliable source of info), but he does not know exactly what adjustment is done by Mazda to achieve that. So, there you have it.

New design for both 18 and 20 inch wheels was mentioned on Edmunds summary. Besides the 1mpg change not much else seems to have changed.

Given these minimal changes, I wonder how they will sell the 2011 initially if the 2010 is still being sold with zero percent financing.

I thought they were going to change the Nav system for 2011.

Hope not.(pissed) I just got a 2010 GT with Nav after reading that the only changes for 2011 were cosmetic. Still, though there has been a lot of pissing and moaning about the factory nav, I have to say that I don't find it that bad. The screen resolution could be better but the actual directions are fine and the voice is acceptable. Nicely integrated with the audio system which you cannot do with a cheap Garmin. I don't use POI much so don't have anything to say about that.

I read somewhere that MY 2011 won't arrive until Dec. Are MY turnovers typically so late? Usually MY's flip over the summer months.

Any hints on when change points will be released, what they are, order guide, etc.?

We'll need something new early in the new year, so an early 2011 would be perfect. That said, I'll likely need to order one to get the spec I want, i.e. GT but (almost) nothing else, in Dophin Gray & Sand.

Last year at this time Mazda was offering $4,000 dealer cash to move 2009 stock. The 2010 had minor but significant changes. If they're not as aggressively pushing the 2010s now, I imagine the 2011 MY will have fewer changes.
