2009 Mazda 5 Quetions PLEASE!

I have a 2009 Mazda 5. I just found out that none of these came stock with the side still extensions (side skirts). I was wondering if anyone has been able to fit the 2006-2008 sides on the 2009? I am ready to order some today if they fit so if anyone could let me know asap I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok so i've been searching. The 2009's did come with the skirts but only in the GT models? I'm new to mazdas. I've had all Nissan 240's and Sc300's. X_X

It's my wifes car and she wants to fix it up a bit.

Are you in Canada or USA? The Canada GS / US Sport models didn't come with the side sill extensions, ever for 06 to 09.

USA I guess it's the sport model. I want something there it looks so plain... I just called the dealer and they want over a thousand for the GT model side skirts.

The Ebay link is to an actual Mazda dealer, same as the ones you linked. Do you know if they will fit an 09 though?

If you think a local Mazda dealer is NOT going to sell some soccer mom

a set of side skirts for her GRAND TOURING level trim M5, ...


... and that sales man/woman wouldnt be so dumb to say ...

"Gee Mrs. Smith you can't get those side skirts for your level M5 that only comes on the sport"

they want to make money, I've seen factory Corvette spoilers on other Chevy cars right from the dealer lot. For Petes Sake let it go people. (shocked) (lol)

*Yes I know this is spiler on a vett, but I can't find one on another car, but it was like this, SORT OF. (flash)

Well then in that case, you ask them, "Look I've asked if this will fit, you said no idea so if I 'buy them' can I just see if they fit, if not can I return them?

Also at worse if they dont fit, e-bay sell them or Craigs List?

I know it sounds silly, but I too think WAY OUTSIDE the NORMAL BOX, and youre just going to have to do what I do suck it up and drive on with YOUR special request.

Many times, I have been the first one to 'try stuff out'

So "has been able to fit the 2006-2008 sides on the 2009?" welcome to the club.

Oh and please do the community a favor, please post a 'How to" on it, i.e. pictures of..

1. Here are the skirts in the box
2. This is me opening the box.
3. This is me trying to see if it will fit.
4. Here is me mad as hell trying to take these back to the dealer. (headbang)
5. Here is me punching the guy in the face!

Well, lets hope it works, and IF . I don't see there be a big problem, you can always 'trim' 'cut' modify as you go along, and make a kick ass How To thread and be a hero!

Seems that skirts are standard on GT/Touring model and optional on Sport/GS.

H9s a code youll find on JDM hyperwhites and import "super-bulbs",9005s a number youll see domestically.
As to "9005 XXXX" I dont know,its likely application codes.
Check with your dealership to ascertain,and post what you find,here,please.

I think you are talking about bulb size? and not side sills
