2008 GT Has Arrived

I actually checked your original post in the 08 MS3 thread

Dealer just called and they just unloaded my car, a 2008 Silver GT.
Should be ready for launch tomorrow sometime.

I just assumed that since you commented in a thread about the 08 MS3's that you were getting an 08 MS3. But you never said that you were getting an MS3 GT, just an 08 GT.

You're not getting the Mazdaspeed3 are you? (spin)

OOO edittt^^^ So I don't get flammed. I trade in my cars every six months.... So it would have been nice to get an 08 for trade in value. (I know there is no changes) Maybe I'll just have to keep this masterpiece of work :)

What?!

Speed3 GT - Sorry. Due to pick it up tomorrow.

OK, do you mind telling me when you ordered yours? Also where are you located? Thank you. I'm in MA and I was told that Speed3's weren't being built until July. I'm confused (confused) and fumed (gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)(gun)

Not at you of course...:-)

actually, it would be better for trade in value to have an 07 with a low amount of miles considering the year than an 08

Ready for launch?? Don't forget about the break-in period! I'd stay away from the "launching" until you have at least a few hundred miles on the ticker.

You figure that if there have been no changes made between the '07 model and the '08 model, then the only thing that would be required for Mazda to start selling "2008 Mazdaspeed 3's" is the build label and the window sticker.

You guys think this is true I talked to Mazdausa and this is what they said 4 days ago!

> Do you know when the 08's will be at the dealers? I am in Florida, USA.
> Thanks for the info,
> Thomas Fahey

Here is what they responded;

The 08s should start arriving at the dealerships in late summer early fall. As they have not yet begun production I can not say for sure.

If both of these are true they build cars very fast and ship them via speedboat!

Anyone know?

Yeah, that's the response I got to...

Once the first cars roll off the assembly line, they continue to each day the plant is open (with high production cars these numbers are in the hundreds).

I don't care that mine's an '07. I also had an '04 Mazda3, so I've owned both of the "first model year" of each respective car. That's kinda cool.... (shady)

Actually, on another forum that will will remain nameless, a local dealer had (2) 2008 MS3's last week. Here are the pics to prove it. They are cell phone pics so i do apologize! Taken by GriM for the other 3 forums.
