2006 Mazdaspeed6
Up for sale is my Velocity Red Mica Speed6. I'm sure almost everyone is aware of its awesome stats, but I'll list a few for those who aren't: 2.3L direct-injected turbo 4-cylinder making 274 hp, 280 lb-ft torque, all wheel drive, 6-speed manual transmission, xenon lights, 200W Bose stereo, stiffened chassis, performance oriented suspension, etc.

It's in phenomenal condition -- I'm the only owner and have pampered it since driving off the lot. Mobil 1 synthetic every 5k miles or 6 months, whichever came first. 30k maintenance completed. Clutch and emissions TSBs performed >20k miles ago -- the car flies!

The car has never been in any accidents and it hasn't had any paint or bodywork performed for any reason. Exterior is 9/10 (some scuffs on rear bumper from parallel parking), interior 10/10. No smokers. Max performance summer tires with lots of tread remaining. Despite it's AWD capabilities, I leave the max performance rubber on year round so the car has never seen snow. It's always kept in covered, secured parking.

Aside from Rally Armor mud flaps, tinted windows, and a bike hitch, the car is 100% stock. I didn't want to risk losing the warranty so I never made any modifications. It's also a daily driver that has never seen any track time or even driving schools (though I'm sure it would be a hoot).

NADA is $18k+ given the low miles, Blue Book says $17,300, and similar cars on autotrader are listed at $17,300. I'm asking $16,500 because we have a baby on the way and our growing family needs a larger people mover.

I have no doubt the purchaser will absolutely love this car -- it's truly in amazing condition and has never been abused. Before I bought this car, I used to drive a '95 BMW M3 and must admit that I'll miss the Speed6 more than i did the M3. It's just the perfect all-around performance sedan.

The car is located in Madison, WI and I'm willing to drive up to an hour to meet prospective buyers. If interested, please PM me with your name, telephone number, and a good time to call. Thanks for your interest.

very clean speed! My family is growing too so I need a sedan... does this have car seat hooks?

Yup, sure does. Plenty of room in the back for two carseats, too.

I've had a few nibbles, but the car hasn't sold yet.

Bump!

So despite the car being from the rust belt, it was always stored in winters?

It was stored whenever there was ANY snow on the roads. If roads were dry, she would get a little exercise to circulate and warm fluids and to keep the battery charged.

If you flipped the car over, you could eat off the undercarriage. It's that clean.

My wife and I shared her '02 Legacy with snows during winters. And I rode the bus... a lot.

I live in Montana and the drive would be worth it for $14,000. Plus clean trade-in on NADA is $15,325.
