From the rear the 06 Monte looks the same as the current Monte and looks like Chevy just updated to the Accordish frontend from the 06 Impala.

3.5L V6 rated at 211hp (Base, LT and LS)
3.9L V6 rated at 240hp (LTZ)
5.3L V8 rated at 303hp and 323lb-ft of torque (SS)

Thats what it looks like. The rear pic of the Monte Carlo has a antenna similar.
