2005 Mazda3 SP23 Special Edition

Mazda is marketing the SP23 here in the States.

I saw one at the LA Auto show. They look pretty nice. The brown leather interior is a nice touch. I definately think it is worth the extra price.

That definately need to do something more drastic with the car. Its not more sporty its more luxurious. I need speed.

I saw one at the dealer, an SP23 5 door. The brown leather was a nice contrast to the grey color, but other than that I didn't notice too much of a difference. I'm more than happy with mine.

The two things that I like on SP23 are:

-Auto Wipers
-Auto head lamps

When I bought my 05 Mazda 3s, SP23 wasn't released yet. If I would have known that it was going to be released two weeks after that date of my purchase, I would have waited. I know that you can have an aftermarket device installed with the function of auto head lamps, but is there an aftermarket device that has the ability for auto wipers? If so, is it easy to install? I emailed Mazda about this concern, and they replied by saying At the present time, this is not a dealer installed Option.

I really liked my last two cars. One of them controlled the wipers by the speed I was going while the other had a sensor that controlled the amount of water on the windshield.

As for the brown/reddish Leather on the SP23, its not one of my favorite colors for leather. Reminds me of an old 1970s, early 1980s Oldsmobile.

Porsche

The Saddle Brown seats in a gray car is especially reminiscent of Porsches past and present. The brown is a natural for leather.
How now brown cow.

i have the sp23 and i love the saddle brown seats. they stand out so much better and just set the car off from everything else. my younger brother bought the 6 in the dark grey and got black leather. it just doesnt look as nice... it blends in too much. but thats just my two cents.

I bought one and absolutly love it!!! I traded in my RX-8 for it and took a MAJOR beating on it but after 3 days of driving it, so worth it.
