Styling isn't as bad as the standard 5 series, but maybe 500 hp is clouding my vision

looks good...i can't say I like it more than the E-39 M5, looks wise...but the V-10 will be teh sehkz...

I still think Chris Bangle needs fired...I have been "liking" some of their new stuff appearance wise...but I never used to even find it controversial...now the 5-6-7 series and Z4 have all grown on me a bit, so I can't say I hate each one of them...but there are parts about them that drive me nuts...

and the wheels ******' blow...like suck seriously unacceptably bad...I honestly would just save the 80grand towards a 911 turbo if those were the only option...

The E-46 M3 had very little input from that prick Chris Bangle...he is the main man for BMW's exterior design route lately...the E-46 M3 was pretty much ready for production before his big promotion...and retains BMW's main design cues, with only slightly more aggressiveness than previous versions...the first car to come out under his full command was the new 7-series (and just weeks after a X-type and 1 series concept...both litterly uglier than s*** on four wheels)...and we all know what kind of welcome that thing got...

But until he is dead or not in charge...BMW's are going to be all goofy and s***, except for the SUV line...which I read he doesn't have as much say in...The next M3 is aggressive as hell looking...but is way over the top for the entire M line...no M car has ever looked that ridiculous, with 10" fender flares and 30" wheels...it is just sort of silly, and excludes the "wolf in sheeps clothing" notion that the entire M cars originally brought...

Its the same with all of BMW's new cars...I cannot say I hate them, I do not...But all this controversy is not needed at all...the new 5 series has enough crazy ass features to make your head spin...but at a price...a lot feel the exterior looks like a swingin' dick...they could have kept the 5 series looking like the previous model...with a new suspension, and a new interior...If I had the money I would have easily bought one...but goofball trunks and slab sides...plus dumbass tail-lights are for some company with a lot less tradition and history...

BMW should redesign the headlamps and taillamps. The car looks Japanese in the front and rear because of the lights.

I'm not diggin the front at all. I don't like the new style headlights. They should go back to the older style rectangular ones. the 5-6-7 series cars look kinda ugly.

its the antenae/antenea or however you spell that word...but not just for AM/FM radio...for the built-in phone/GPS/Satellite radio and whatever else...

It looks pretty nice, to me. But some of you have a point, it just doesn't look German anymore.
