My car has developed idling issues over time and one day didn't start. I had to leave it with my brother a few hours away from home and want to get it worked on.
The day it refused to start, the starter was turning over but the engine never fired up. I'm a little beyond the recommended tune-up by about 1,500 miles. Funny thing is my brother was able to get it started and is able to cruise the car around with no issues, just the idling issue. Intermittently the car will start, then stall a few seconds after it starts. However on the second try, the car starts and runs fine. The same thing happened that day, but the second and third etc. it refused to start. A friend of my brother's is a mechanic and said he had read of a recall on the fuel injectors. Anyone have any ideas?
