Hey everyone i need alot of help on this one! I drive a 2004 mazda 6I, and im wanting to install fog lights. The Mazda dealership in my area is trying to charge me 225.00 for the fog lights and then another 150.00 to install it. I dont know about you guys but im sure as heck not paying 375.00 bucks for fogg lights on top of the cost to get HID's for them.

I've been looking on ebay for fogs at a decent price but the next problem i have is theres no fog switch on my light switch in the car. Will this effect anything or will the fogs just run when the regular lights are turned on?

Please help me out anyone, i really dont know much about eletrical stuff but at the same time i hooked up my hids so im not that stupid lol

Thanks,

Are you looking for the fog light assemblies like the Speed6's have? If so.... actually putting in the new assembly will cost you around what they're quoting you. Not only do have to take into account the part cost (yes, it's not that cheap unless you find stuff at a junkyard), but the labor they're quoting sounds about right as well. You have to take into account that they'll have to wire it up for you. They'll probably install a switch for you as well.

I've been wondering the same thing for my '06 6s. I was underneath the car uninstalling my intake, only to notice that I had wiring going to the black "caps" where the fogs would be located, along with the fuse and relay required for fogs. Eventually I will pull the cover off where the fog light switch would be (to the left of the steering wheel, where the dimmer switch is) and see if the wiring for the switch is their also. Check to see if your car has the wiring going to the "caps" as well, along with the fuse and relay. I'd assume it's just plug and play assuming you install the switch too. I found a set of OEM ones on eBay that came with a switch too.
