2003 MS vs 2003.5 MS

HAS ANYONE SEE THE NEW EXHAUST TIP ON THE 2003.5 UGH...
WHAT THE HELL WAS MAZDA THINKING?

I could live with the new front cap, tail & yellow stiching, but the tip just does not work for me.

I like the 2003 MS1 better!:D
 
Apparently oval-shaped exhausts are the new thing.. I'll have to wait until Fast & Furious 2 comes out to be for sure what the new fad will be. Maybe oval tips will replace NAWWWZ when it comes to the elite of the elite.

They also removed the foglamps and replaced all the "sparco" stuff with "mazdaspeed" parts. so in a sense the 03s are all still "limited edition" cars. i like the originals better, color and all.
 
IMHO,I will take a 03 over 03.5 anyday.I don;t like the new bumper(front)or the wing and :wtf: NO FOGS!Please thats what sets the MP3/MSP/P5 off from the crowd!Oh yeah and it costs more?WHY?They cant finish selling the first ones,why up the price on these?:confused: I don't get it?I do like the colors *mmmm...titanium!*and the rear lower skirt and I would love to have the wheels off of one!(If anyone buys a 03.5 and wants to trade up let me know!)But I do agree the oval tip just doesnt do anything for me?

The only thing I like more about the 2003.5 is they replaced all that plastic tubing under the hood with metal tubing. Other than that I like the 2003.

We were in the dealership looking at the 03 MSP that had already been sold. It was quite sad because they told us that we would have to get the 03.5.

The good news (nice salesguy) was the two diff colors.... they didn't have any info about the car at all and since neither of us were Mazda fans ....we had no idea of the changes.

5mins into looking on the internet at the dealership....we were convinced that the 03 would be the better choice. There was an 800CAD jump in price for the 03.5.

Simply put, we like the color, the style a lot better than the 03.5, though the wheels would probably look better on the Orange.... either way, it doesn't concern us now since, we want to sell the wheels anyway.

I think the P5 lights on the 03 MSP would be stunning.... has anybody done this yet?

I am in St. Pete Fl....West coast also...been here allllll my life. so u have seen a 3.5!!:D
 
Fog lights pfff, who needs them. Not me I have never used my fog lights on my eclipse. Hell I eliminated my fogs on the MSP. (No i am not selling them to anyone.) The front I think looks nice, the colors well... that has yet to be determined (sp?), the rims I like dark rims, the rear awsome, the new spoiler sucks if had got a 2003.5 i would ebay the spoiler then get a 2003 one in its place, Oval exhaust looks good on the car you have to see it in person to get an idea of it.
Now that i finished the out side on to the inside....
The yellow trim is okay it matches the car, the Mazdaspeed shifter is nice, the pedals well... I wont go there, the sound system is the same, the seats are the same.
Engine....Same
Suspension Same

Over all i like the 2003.5 better but that is just me. Only things i dont like is color choices and spoiler.

Just my .02 cents.
 
personally i like the 03.5

it is just different from all the other msps out there (no offense i love all the msps out there haha) i love the darker wheels since they clash with the color of the msp really well. you can say the spoiler is like a "squished" version of the rsx r's spoiler.

but hey. everyone is allowed to have their own opinion right?

hahah yeah props to all the people who like 03.5. at mazda rev it up i was literally huggin the car cuz i didnt want to let it go. it was so beautiful. now only if i know how to load up the pics......
