Yes I have one
Just wondering if anyone has done this conversion yet?? When I was picking up my P5 I was checking out the MSP they had on the floor and really liked the bumper. Don't really mind losing the fogs. Having a P5 a little different from the rest and losing the side marker lights would be worth it.

You wouln't need a whole new bumper. Just the lower lip. I've been considering if I want to do this or not...

Yes, you would need the whole bumper since the 2003.5 MSP is different from the 2003 MSP/ MP5/ 2001 MP3

How so? The only diffrence I saw was the lower lip. Which is a seperat peice.

Yes, look closely. The part that covers the foglights are the same peice. Intergrated with the front lip. Lemme try to find a pic.

If you look closely it is just attached, I've seen them in person many times it is just a lip, the reason it looks square in the foglight holes is because that is also part of the lip, if you were to take that lip off it would look exactly like the p5/msp/mp3 bumper.

As I said before, the part that covers the foglights and around the foglighs, and the lower lip are the same peice, that also wraps around the sides.

I'm not 100% positice on this, but I'm at lease 90%. :D

See, on the 2003.5, the air inlets are no longer round for the fog lights, and there is a design wrapped around the inlets.

Unless that lowerlip is that whole portion, now looking at it, thats what it looks like, but I have never seen one in person.

My bad, I see now, the lower lip goes up into the old foglight area. Damn, thats weird.

OK, so another useless post by me.(hand)

:D I was looking at them about 4 days ago at the dealer, trying to decide if I were going to see about getting the lower lip or not. :D From the looks of it it will work with no problems, but I don't think anyone has tried it yet.

Anyone have a part number, because now that I know that, now I like the look for my CAI I am making, and will be ridding the foglights.

i was surprised when i noticed that too.

probally why they up the price a lil on the 03.5 one extra piece

when the 2003.5 cars were at the docks, and not assembled yet, the front bumper did not have the lip installed yet, and you could see that it was clearly just a normal protege bumper with no fogs in it.

pics are in the speed section with the topic port updates

Ahh I see now. Never caught that before. So does the lip, in the area where the fogs are supposed to go, allow for mounting of the grills that go in place of them?? Doesn't solve the problem of the side markers though. But still an option I might consider.

yes its is the same bumper with a lip added and some little grill insert where the fogs used to be... and good luck getting your hands on one.. if you do, let me know.

Gotzoom, where have you been? We figured it out it was two pieces months ago.
