However, we could sell the brackets at $25.00/shipped per set for those interested.

The brackets are the most labor intensive part of the entire set and are truly designed around this fog light. If the demand is great enough, I can have them mass produced for a bit less.

- Brian

I want the brackets. How do I get my hands on the brackets?
If this was cheaper as an entire kit, I would be all over it. However, I can get the Hella kits, as well as a few others locally, as well as online, for $45-60. They have cool blue angel eyes around them also, and one of them has the 7 color angel eyes, in case I get bored of the blue, and just want to go white. At any rate, I really miss having fogs for dark streets and bad weather (not that we get much here in SoCal). I am broke however, seeing as my engine replacement is costing me a ton of rental, etc. Please let me know if I can just get the brackets. Thanks!

Thank you ....the movies are pretty good.

....and Jesus yes we all work till dark. My job does not allow cameras on site, that would be bad....ummm k? (flash)

I'll tell ya what, I will take one more movie tomorrow morning.

...and yes with them aimed they will f'ing ROCK!

BTW I think the button is cool.

don't get me wrong, the movies are great. but until you see them in daylight, you won't see all the things we need to see....like gaps, visible screws, brackets, inperfections, clean install, overall quality and look....all things hidden in the dark. Even I look good in the dark :)

I hear ya but :

"like gaps" - none
"visible screws" - none
"brackets" - none
"inperfections"- none
"clean install" - up to you
"overall quality and look" - mint, perfect, excellent! (yes)

I'll take a day time movie in the morning but it won't be up till night.

Its not like II-Savy and I are on Brian's payroll or something for gods sake. They do look nice in daylight or dark. It doesn't matter. He did a nice job with them and with the new brackets they will be tits! Oh, and by the way I hear tits is making a comeback. (silly)

Come on Newf you outta run for parliament there in Canada, you'd get the budget in order in no time. (hah) Why don't you get on a plane fly on over here to D-town and take all the time you want checking them out. :) Just giving you a hard time man. :D I will take some pics in the morning as well.

Good evening everyone! Yeah, it's late, work has been really busy. Let me set some things straight for everyone...(long post)

a) The Gen II plates have nothing to do with the aiming of the lights for the PL-362Ws. Remember, there is a lot of a labor put into these. The plates are all the same. The brackets that II-Savy and Kev got were the first set of brackets attached to the plate (and at the time, I didn't think about the aiming issue) until I put my 3rd set of lights on. You will not see the plate/brackets no matter what - I have 5 sets that I am going to sell with the PL-362W's (with new adjusted brackets for aiming better more centered=they work). I am not going to sell the G3's for the PL-362W's until the G2's are sold.

b) Price with G3's will go up (more R&D, thicker metal, blah blah blah). I'm estimating each kit will go up $10.00. $125/$145 respectively for the 4" NV-602W and the 5" PL-362W Halos. I am also going to sell the G3 plates for $55.00 shipped/set (unpainted) $60.00 painted epoxy black. I can also consolidate my costs and have *1* base product that is universal.

c) I'm sending II and Kevy G3 plates since I have had soooo many discussions and they aided in the input and design. Remember, it was at the last minute I got the 5" to work with the design for other lights. These guys don't work for me, nor are they "on my payroll" just the first two customers that had the most input (though at times I was going to shoot myself) - that and NEWF - but he didn't buy, so he lost out on the perks (no bashing ya' just I thought II-Savy was anal, you must be the guy holding the Crisco--no offense, just sour humor.)

d) I have put in an order for a limited quantity of G3 sets (sometime they will be done this week), because I have a wife, and 3 girls and money doesn't grow on me - nor do I hardly make anything (enough to cover my costs) up to this point. The more people that order, the more (partial profit) put forth to order a hell of a lot of plates, which, in-turn the fabricators will be happy because of big orders, business stuff.

e) The G3 plates are awesome! I mean, honestly, to use them on the PL-362W's are a waste since you won't reap the value of them (and I don't feel that the adjustment for these lights are a value hence why I modified my bracket design for the existing). I see the value for 4" lights, no gap, flush fit, OEM look.

I don't know what else to say guys, besides it's late, and I am rambling on...why is everyone waiting? Again, I think I have made valid points. If you want 5" PL-362W's, I can do five now. If you want 4" NV-602W's, then preorder, and the plates will be done quicker and you will get your product soon. Ya' gotta realize, I turned around 3 sets to these guys from money sent to me, to product delivered in 2 business days (not including 2 weekend days) - I'm trying. Ho hum, let's see who throws the first fruit at me (duck!).

Oh yeah, one more thing...

If I here another thing about "Hella's" - PEOPLE, YOU NEED CENTER/SIDE MOUNT SCREW PATTERN BECAUSE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT, IT WILL NOT WORK! SO FAR PILOT'S ARE THE ONLY ON THE MARKET NEXT TO $$$ CATZ'S

(caps lock off)

i would rather

i would rather do what i did and put the foglights under my grill. don't get me wrong, the 2003 foglights look cool but i like to keep the black grill there cuz i think it looks better. thats just me though, i'm not a big fan of giant fog lights, if i wanted that i would bought a jeep...

if u need to know what lights i used or anything, just message me... they came out awesome and the grill, infront of the lights, doesn't block the light visibilty at all....

Sorry dude, I might have meant Pilot's. I priced them out month's ago when I first got my car. I haven't seen my car in so long (blown engine), that I haven't been looking for new mods. I need to get and engine back in the hole in my front end before I get serious about fogs. I was just trying to figure out if this would be affordable. I honestly don't see how $60 is reasonable just so the frame around where the fog lights will sit won't be seen. I really like this idea, but it has to be more affordable, we didn't buy an STI because we don't have any money!! Haha...keep this stuff inexpensive, man...please!!!

um....what about labor charges? he spent so much time working on this projects, and he hurt himself while he was working on it.
if you think this his price is high, I suggest you to find another vendor or person to make it one for you. :)

OK
I took a new movie this morning and 2 huge pics. I will post them when I get home at about 5:30ish. I have indoor soccer but I will get them up before I go.

Brian - I agree the GENIII are almost a waste cause of fit and thickness that you can't see but you gotta love the adjustment of them, thats a must for the 5"....others not so much. So cool.

I am still interested. I just need time to collect funds...
Could someone post more pics of the installed switch. The one I saw looked like it didn't fit...

Ready to buy. However, I still have not see the light installing instructions and how complex it is. Some one let me know how long it took to install everything..

if you want to, you can pm zmzmp5 about installation pics. he will be glad to help you out.

With adding the necessary wire and spending extra time doing a nice job. (2thumbs) The tech said it took him about 3 hours for the foglight install. I will post pics this evening of how I mounted my switch and how the tech routed the wiring in the engine bay. ;) I placed it inside the big coin holder stuck to the top with the colored LED's displayed on the front edge. Kinda a stealth mounting.
