Ok, I'm installing a aftermarket radio in my MP3, but the problem is that the person that had the car before me had cut the connector out and wired directly to wires themselves. I was going to use that as a base to install a Scosche Reverse Wiring kit, but I was wanting to get everything right before I started soldering the wires together. I had traced some of the main wires to their respective colors with the harness he had on there right now, but both front door speakers do not work and their plugged in (this was from the last person that had the car), so I know something isn't traced right.
So, if someone has the time, can they trace the wires from their aftermarket radio to the harness and then to what colors are on the harness? Need to figure out which goes to which on the speakers and make sure I'm not screwing something up lol (stash)
P.S> I used http://www.modifiedlife.com/2001-mazda-protege-car-stereo-wiring-diagram/ as my base, but some of those don't match up with the factory wires either. So I'm a little skeptical here (boom06)
