glad to see you decided to keep the car and continue the build. I never heard about the forge motor going bad

haha yea man that was a long time ago that my forged motor failed. The build is over and the car is getting ready to be parted out. I'm going to be building up my new miata. Hoping to make it as good as I made the protege. So far I like it a lot I feel much more connected to the car in the miata. That and the stock seats in the miata are 10x better then the proteges.

i vote on the protege over maitas anyday... iiiimmmm not goin to lie i will be geting a 99 or 00 maita later on but just to slamm thats it.. but my protege is the true mazda ill always have but what ever ur happy with go for it and have fun!!!

Well miatas are a better platform, better motor, trans, rwd. Parts are a lot cheaper, and the motors can handle more abuse, and more boost. Lighter, handles better, wayyyyyy more reliable. Yeah I took my miata over my protege. Period. My msp was definitely no punk either. My miata was definitely the best 2900 I ever spent. By far!

and with all the money I have in the protege I could have a sick miata pushing over 250 whp reliably
