i guess im a loner b/c i want blue:'( :( (sad1)

Blue has its fallowers too but black and Red are the most common. I was very suprised that the least desired color was silver.

Oh yeah and I found a solid yellow wire :D

How much for a red set? Shipping to Canda... you have a close pictures of yours as well?

Thanks

From me! (hi)

As another member that recently contacted me, doing these yourslef isn't a good idea unless you have the right tool. The real crimpers will cost around $200 and the impact type form sears is a bit over $50 I think.

Excellent. I just read the other thread. Very cool these are made Protege specific from someone who knows the car. I'll prolly be hitting you up for one after the first of the year. I may even go on the wild side and get silver. ;)

One thing I noticed. You kit does not use a distribution block like others out there correct.

Oh and has anyone using a gounding kit encountered any problems from dealerships when taking there cars in for service??

I have seen several distor block kits too. Honestly I don't see the damn difference. If the car in some way was able to generate enough eletrical current to over power a 4 guage wire tht would be one thing, but it can't come close. the big thing is to make connections that will allow for better current flow from anywhere in the engine bay to the battery and have it remain that way for a long time. An uncovered distro block will carode as will an open wire terminal, which is why I use only weather sealing shrink wrap and closed ended terminals.

I have never heard of anyones dealer giving them s*** about the kit.

PAitence, it times to order all the parts and make the things.

I don't know where the hell he finds the time to do this crap! When I stopped in to visit the kid, he's building a box for a Kicker, just to see how it'll sound. Granted this *was* at work...but still...and the whole time he talked to me he's just cranking out a pretty nice box. Seriously...I'm sure he's working on the kits as he's sitting and typing replies! Crackhead! :D

And my kit still kicks ass...but I need to clean the engine bay!
