1st Gear ticking

Hello there..
I have the euro edition of Cx-7, which is manual, so decided to post here since all others are auto...

I noticed that while accelarating in 1st gear the knob is shaking, and when I pass 4.000rpm on 1st gear it starts making a ticking sound from the shake..

Does your stick MS6 shake on these circustances? Any ideas?

My shift knob on my RX-8 was doing the same thing. I took it in and they replaced it for me free of charge. Check to see if it is the same thing on yours making the noise. If so be sure to tell the dealer about it and they may take care of it for nothing...

Transmission replacement??

My shift knob on my RX-8 was doing the same thing. I took it in and they replaced it for me free of charge. Check to see if it is the same thing on yours making the noise. If so be sure to tell the dealer about it and they may take care of it for nothing...

What did the replace ? At the first visit they said its normal, now the car is in the main dealer for two weeks awaiting for a NEW transmission & flywheel!!

What the car did was the following:
1.Shifter vibrating at above 2.500rpm, so much you could see it, only at 1st gear.
2.There was a small "stop" on the shifter just before engaging 2nd gear (only during upshifting, never during downshifint) while shifting from 1st to 2nd at low RPMs (<2.500)
3.Two times that I drove in heavy traffic for more than 1.5h, I could not DISENGAGE easily the 2nd gear (i.e stopping at stoplights)
4.I feel slight vibration at idle on my seat & headreast, which is not constant though.
5.During the first 30seconds at startup, the whole car vibrates, even at hot days (25C)

Do these symptoms justify new gearbox & flywheel ?

Car is euro (manual) edition of CX7 , 6month old, 6.500km
