$1000? Do as much as you can with the suspension.

Honestly, the car has a good suspension as is and I wouldn't worry about that too much atm. Work on getting a TMIC, exhaust, ways to get some more speed out of your car. When the hp starts to go up is when *I* think it's necessary to toy with suspension.
i say get brakes and suspension after you get more hp the more hp the better stoping and handeling you need as for now the stock one is great but it all depends on the guy if he was performance over suspension, or if he wants the sleeper look or the stand out typeSwampAss said:You think inversely to what I think. Two things you cannot overdo. Brakes and suspension. Power is fab, til you can't stop or turn. Not that the original poster would be close to doing with 1k....but as an overall statement.
k-lea said:It's all opinionated. Until the guy knows what he truly wants (power or handling) I don't see how he could make a decision. I'm just stating my opinion and how I would go about doing things.
I know those MS3's handle very well stock, seen it perform.

(Top mount intercooler)
Kosh said:Motor mount is cheap as dirt compared to other mods. Less than $100. Good place to start in my opinion. You could then get new springs for $400 and a downpipe for another $400 all for under $1000. That way you get power, handling, and better power transfer from engine to the wheels.
