1997 A-Spec Mazdaspeed Lantis from Manila, Philippines

hi guys! this is my first post here...

got a 1997 a-spec mazdaspeed lantis... i know this model was not sold in the US market but still, i want to share what i have done with this sweet monster...

can i join the MOTM for the succeeding months? or is it allowed for those residing in the US only?

Very nice. I always liked the Lantis style. I see a bit of Cosworth in that rear wing. You drive that car much?....hehe. Great show ride for sure. The red gas tank and muffler is killing me though. It's a cornucopia of vibrant colors under there. Reminds me of those cut away model cars you see at car shows to point out certain aspects like safety devices or body structure.

Bought another Mazda, but my heart is still set on my ex Lantis... Maybe when the time is right (read have extra cash) I'll buy for a project car

i'll be setting this car to be racecar soon...

by end of this month i'll have the headers / muffler racing tuned

How do you tune headers and mufflers?

i'll post pictures on how to do it... i'll have it installed by tomorrow...

as far as i know, size and bending do have direct connection with the tuning plus on what RPM does the headers will have it. 3500 is the suggested timing....

I love that car, too bad when i left Phil. they havent offered that. Wish I can import one here in the US. Ill be there next year hope there will be a car show again for the mazdatech.

actually, im thinking the same thing but since the engine is already being ported and polished and increase bore, maybe it's nice to see a car being race and at the same time, a head turner in a carshow.
