1990 RX-7 Turbo II
My other joy is a vehicle I "share" with my father who lives in CT. It's really a long story about personal failures and triumphs, but aside from that let's talk about the car.

Purchased in the year 2001, this 1995 Dodge Stealth RT/TT was company owned and an official pace car for a local raceway in CT with only 17,000 miles. It is bone stock with a twin turbocharged 320HP & 315 ft-lbs. of torque, controlled with AWD. She rides on OEM 18" chrome rims. Needs some new tires and an engine bath, but other than that she's like brand new, even with the now 37,000 miles.

awesome.... Always been a fan of 3000GT VR-4s and Stealth RT/TTs

My dad used to have a VR-4 way back in the day. Whenever I have the money and time (after I complete the MSP) I have plans of rebuilding/reconditioning one for my dad. With a few upgrades :) But nothing extreme... Probably just around 440hp TOPS...

Nice. I hadn't realized Dodge ever got an AWD version of the car. I thought that was Mistu only.

It's been a great vehicle, not a single issue. Forgot to mention the built in radar detection system with front and rear sensors. The sunroof actually comes completely off and can be stored in the hatch.

pimp ass car. I love the 3000gts/stealths. Didn't the Stealth have all wheel steering also?

2) Electronic Controlled Suspension (ECS)

3) automatic AC with graphics display

4) dual mode active exhaust

5) steering wheel mounted radio controls & power antenna

6) glass projector beam headlight covers

7) 17" rims (no option to upgrade to 18")

8) body color front emblem

9) auxiliary 12V power outlet (below radio / in front of shifter)

10) storage convenience straps (in hatch)

11) dark gray dash

12) black roof (exterior)

13) ECU/ECM diagnostics beyond OBDI but not yet OBDII compliant (hybrid)

14) common rear wing with 1st Gens

1995 Stealth R/T TT (standard features unless denoted as option):

1)-5) deleted (not even optional)

6) lexan projector beam headlight covers (replaces heavier glass cover)

7) 18" chromed 5 spoke rims are now optional for the first time (very common option)

8-14) same as ‘94

Awesome car. My Aunt had a Mitsu 3000GT VR-4 Spyder (kinda rare). I wanted it so bad but she sold it before I could get enough cash to buy it. Looks clean man.

*Drool*.....

Nice pictures Josh! (as always)
She is so pretty I'd be afraid to mod it....wait a minute, NAH!!

Come on, whats ur list of dream mods for this baby! Lets hear it!

yeah mine does that too!! i just don;t like how that wind guard is so obviois on the top of the car when you take the glass off. its ugly. but it works really well.

true. i always have it in my car because i never take it off unless its extreme;y nice out and im not doing anything. close to never. i had the oportunity to take it off 4 times in 2 years. i could live without it. you know someone makes a carbon fiber replacement for that heavy glass. i forget which web site it is but i might be able to find it.

Yea, I've heard of CF sunroof replacements. Good idea. I like how my roof is all black.

hey my roommate has a 1998 or 1999 3000gt vr4 black that is currently partly disassembled. we started working on it as a project car, but the mitsubishi ended up being way way too complicated. we both wish that he had bought a 240sx instead.

anyway, not to hijack your thread, but do you or anyone else happen to have a vr4 service manual? i'll pay you if i can make a copy of it!! (electronic version is good too)

also, do you have any parts that you need? we have a ton of spare parts now that the car is mostly disassembled.
