Hello all,
I have an old '94 MX-6 with the 2.5L V6 engine being stored out of town right now which is used for snow-racing. It needs an oil pan change because I killed the stock one last year. I have the "new" oil pan, but want to know how hard of a swap it actually is?

Is it a straight swap or are there subframe braces I need to remove or other PITA issues I'll need to deal with?
Is there anything I can do to make the job easier?
I figure 16 year old bolts may be a problem to remove, or should be actually be fairly easy to remove?
Pix of the underside of a V6 car would be great to give me an idea of what I'll be dealing with as I have to bring in all my tools to the storage place to do the work and don't want to forget anything...

Thanks for any and all advice!

It should be pretty straight forward.

One quick thing to note. There is no gasket for the oil pan. you can buy one, but from MAzda there was not one there. Often times people will put one on and then have leaks. You are supposed to simply use RTV..that is how it is supposed to be.
