1990 Protege 323 help

I recently acquired a 1990 Mazda Protege 323, and it is having a couple problems that I just can't seem to figure out how to resolve. I'm not sure if they are tied into each other, or if they are different problems all together. The first is that the 'Center Diff Lock' light will not go off. There is a switch to the left of the steering wheel, but it looks to be an aftermarket switch. I can't seem to find a wiring example for the switch, or any info on what could cause the center diff to stay locked.

The other problem is that it is running like crap. The idle is low enough to where it almost sounds like a diesel, and when you are operating at very slow speeds, unless you give it extra gas, it stalls. I have cleaned the MAF sensor, TPS and ICS valve. I have also replaced sparks/wires, air filter, and run sea foam through the cylinders. (freak)

Any further insight would be much appreciated. Thank you.
