I did a search but coudlnt find anything. Will a 195/55 tire work with a stock P5 rim? I plan to put a set of winter tires on them so Im not worried about the performance of the tire or how it looks just need to know if it will work ok?

Thanks

It'll work no problem
Speed o might be off a mph or two but not enough to worry about
Cheers

use 185/55/16 would have a less error reading but the 195/55 will work

Dunlop Graspic DS-2 is what I threw on mine this winter, 195/50-16.
Tires Plus price matched tirerack.com for $85/tire ($77 + shipping).

No snow here yet, but I like how they drive on the dry road, road noise isn't any worse than the stock tires I had on it.

For the past two years i've has the ws-50's and it rolls thru the snow as good as my wifes 4x4 tribute

Thanks for all your help, I saw the stock tire size that Dunlop makes but Dunlop also makes these "Winter Sport M3's" and they sound amazing and came in either 195/55 or 205/55 and thought the 195/55 would just be the easier way to go

the 195 55 thing is a VERY good idea for multiple reasons aside from just finding a tire you like. mostly, extra sidewall height helps with both traction and protection in the snow, not to mention the taller overall diameter gives you a higher gearing which translates to less torque and less wheelspin. I'd say it's the best possible combination of anything mentioned, unless you wanna go smaller rim/taller sidewall... Etherway, a 195/55-16 is closer to a Stock msp's tire outside diameter anyway. I've got 185/65-15's on steelies without a problem. As far as tires, it's really hard to beat blizzacks for anything, period, they are the standard bywhich others are judged andhave been thatway for ahwile...

Thanks for the info that sealed my decision. ONe more thing Im about to buy a set of P5 rims and one rim is beat up pretty bad and I was just wondering if there would be any problems using it. Im pretty sure there wouldnt be just wanted to make sure. The other 3 rims are in fine condition
