195 55 16 tires

Anyone recommend this tire size for a 2002 Protege 5? They would be all season tires.

oh yeah, get them at costco cuz they are way cheaper there, also costco give you a 100K road hazard warranty or something, maybe 80K, you get free flat tire repairs, free life time rotation and balance too

nexen n2000 195/50/16 is what i have... whats the widest tire you can put on the protege without having rubbing issues or clearance.
i have 7.5'' 16'' rims.

im running 205s. lowered 0 issues.

i could probably fit a 215 on there as well w/ no issues

i forget my excat tire size but its like 205/55/r16 i believe.

its a big meaty tire.

i got a harder larger tire to save on save (which didnt happen) and becuase my long commutes were burning them out faster. and these were cheaper

i ran 195/55/r16 for the first 5 or 6 years until i got these.

im running 215/40ZR17's on my eibach lowered p5, no problems, the rims are 50 offset though. (maybe 55? i cant remember they are the stock mazda3 rims.

on the stock 16" wheels you can do 205 no problem, i think you can even do 215/50/16 with no problems
