18x9 +48 OZ Ultraleggera and 235/40-18s?

So, i bought these wheels for my winter setup, not realizing how wide they are. I am currently running 215/45-18s for my winter tires. But when the summer comes around I might want to switch to a wider summer tire

Will 235/40s clear on these rims?

this is for a stock speed3, though i might be lowing it a little somewhat soon with the coilover kit.

Wow! 215s fit on a 9" wide wheel?!

I dont know for sure about rubbing issues (I would guess that after lowering it will rub with 235s) but it'll look sweet if they do work!

i know 235's dont rub on stock height..lowered u may get rubbing when u turn

i plan on going to 235 when its time to change stock rubber im lowered on coilovers. Some have the sme set up and say 235s work

There is no such thing as an 18x9 OZ Ultraleggera in +48mm offset. You likely have an 18x8 and the 235/40 will work great on it.

im running 235 40s no problems except the steering doesn't feel quite as light as before , but the grip is serious..

Doh! Yeah, that was a typo. It should have been 18x8. I was in the middle of selling my 17x9 evo wheels at the time...

Ok, so, will it rub on 18x8 with 235s if dropped a little with the Mazdaspeed coilover kit?
