Edge Racing has a good deal on 5zigen Fn01r-c in the 18X7.5 43mm offset (169.00 per wheel). Will this wheel fit OK with the stock tires? I have COBB springs and don't want to roll my fenders. Been there done that.

Thanks

This setup has the potential to rub, but I say that you will not rub during everyday driving. Maybe with 4+ people during a hard turn, but that's it.

I have a 8" wide wheel with a 45mm offset on stock rubber and your setup will stick out .1" more than mine. I am also dropped on Cobb springs. I have not rubbed yet under any cornering, but I have at most 2 people in my car.

You should be fine with this set-up. I've done tons of research on that particular wheel and sizing and have checked and re-checked the car for fitment. I will be ordering this wheel at the end of the week myself. With a 43mm offset, your outer wheel edge will be EXTENDED roughly 15mm. There is a guy on the Mazda3 forums running 18x7.5 ET 43mm Work wheels with the Mazdaspeed springs and camber kit with zero rubbing issues. Granted, that's only a 15mm drop, but judging from the pic he has more room to go.

As far as the tires are concerned, you'll be fine with the factory sizing on the aftermarket wheel, but you may want to consider 225/40/18 at a later time.

Send me some pics when you get your new wheels.

I ordered them yesterday, so I should have them tomorrow. Not sure when they will be installed since Mazda still has my car and don't know what's wrong with it. When I get the wheels installed I'll post pics.
