18 x 9.5 +38 offset on mazdaspeed6?

hey guys i have a 07 speed 6 and i was wondering if 18 x9.5 rims with a +38 offset would fit? i know there is a thread about this and i was was wondering if the guy lowered his car and if he had any problems with it thanks...oh btw my car is lowered on tein stechs springs

Sure! Just bolt those bad boys right on! Seriously though, they won't "fit" without much fender rolling/pulling with lots of negative camber... I'm pretty sure the tires will hit the suspension arms as well, which will require spacers for even more problems.....

WTF? If you don't want any negative comments then don't post pics of your car. Looks are purely subjective so you're fine with that, but the tires WILL scrub the fenders. Did you actually measure the clearance to the suspension arms, or do you consider it fine until the tire sidewall is cut? You should always consider PERFORMANCE before looks. "Form Follows Function", unless specifically looking for a ricer queen. IMO, of course....

nah actually my tires are not hitting the fenders at all (i have my fenders rolled) , there is no problem at all, tires arent rubbing against anything trust me....

if u are talking about the trailing arms, yes i have enough room nothing is rubing agaisnt anything like i said b4, and about the performnace b4 looks thats apersonal opinion it think the speed is my daily, i have my hatch for performnace...im not the kinda of person that just buy s*** b4 doing some research...

too much poke, and not enough tire tuck.
makes it look kind of awkward.

hopefully this is a WIP, and you will eventually be tucking tire... if not, and staying at that height, id say lose some poke.

Glanata, looks good. Seems more people are opting for Tein S-or-H tech springs. If you like the ride height, more power to you. I feel like another inch would be money.
Thoughts about going coilovers? I hear the S-techs give about a 2" drop all around...so maybe that's enough for you?
Put a lip on the front & I think it'll be sick.

Any chance of a few nice daytime shots? Front/Rear/Side? I would love to see how much poke you have.

hey thanks, yai know what u saying i like how the car rides and looks i dont wanna spend money on coilovers. at least not now maybe later on...i wanna get a front lip for it, thats gonna be my next mod...im working on some pics i need to clean the car 1st ill be posting more pics soon...i like they wayit looks the poke is not that bad(in my opinion)

hahahahaha i just went back and read this thread. wtf is with east coast guys hating on poke? it's not the 'lowrider on daytons' look at all when you have less than half an inch of poke! i'm not trying to fight with anyone i'm just making an observation btw...it just seems that poke and not tucking the wheels is a west coast thing? idk maybe it's just me. i love everyone so whatever

anywho @glanata86 - springs ordered and here by monday or sooner. roll on monday. got the paint to paint that bad rusted area on my rotors. and ordering some colored lug nuts for the wheels. west coast twin status brada lol.
