i'm looking for a winter setup. here are the specs:

16x7 Rota Slipstream - Flat Black(5x114.3/e45/73)

i'll probably go w/205/60/26 winter tires. and what's up w/the bore size? i vaguely remember reading that rotas needed to be somehow modified to fit

centerbore is 67.1mm so if the rotas are 73mm centerbore, all you'll need is hub rings

that's not to say there wouldn't be other clearance issues with the hub/brakes

There are a couple of MS3s clad in 16x7 Rota Slipstreams. The front calipers barely clear, but they do fit.

You don't need hubcentric rings, but they do help.

thanks for the info...i assume that they help in reducing vibration/shudder/etc??

Indirectly. Hubcentric rings fill in the gap between the hub and the center bore of the wheel. It keeps the wheels centered. If they weren't, you'd notice shuddering, especially on the highway. You can center wheels yourself by having the car off the ground and torquing each lug in the proper order and to the proper specs.

its a sweet ass scooter, the ruckus. My best friend has one, we have had some good times on that thing. separately that is, 4 nuts and 2 wheels don't mix.
