$1525+ P5 engine swap

so if the same company makes a stock replacement clutch and a stage 1 there both the same huh...just paying 200 bucks more for the stage one name?

i know its not the most reliable source, but its more reliable then johnny noble over here
A Stage 1 clutch is designed to match an automobile's stock clutch in performance and driveability. These are intended for stock vehicles with little or no performance upgrades or increased torque.
reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clutch
so basically its in lieu of saying OEM because exedy did not make the OEM clutch

ok so I just went to exedyusa.com and stage 1 and oem replacement are different due to the materials used. But for the $200 hundred dollars extra.... Its not worth using that clutch on 130hp.

/end rant (fuoops)

its funny how people here just talk out of their ass and try to sound "informed" by posting some bulls*** (that also came out of someone's ass) from wikipedia... time and time has proven again that wikipedia SUCKS for reliable info, especially mazda s***

any of you pissant n00bs would know there is a difference between stock MSP and exedy stage 1 if the faq was read

also, any "stock replacement" exedy is NOT for the MSP but for the P5... there is NO "stock replacement" MSP clutch... putting in such a clutch into an MSP will just cause it to burn itself up!

any one of you who still feels like arguing and wasting time, go ahead and call exedy yourself and they will tell you the same thing... all it will prove is you're a retard

This was over with a long time ago. (deadhorse

i never said it was OEM replacement, i said it was made to the specs of the original clutch, ie. made to handle the same horsepower range that the stock clutch was made to handle. in turn giving the daily drivability of oem
**just to clear up confusion**

NO ITS NOT YOU IDIOT....

Exedy makes a "STOCK REPLACEMENT CLUTCH" it is rated to the same HP as factory

Exedy also makes the stage 1 WHICH IS RATED HIGHER THAN FACTORY..... stupid asses

your a ******* idiot.....you drive a stock p5..you will never push enough power to need a upgraded clutch so dont worry yourself about learning what a ******* stage 1 is

YOU ARE SO COOL!(yupnope) Its kinda sad how a guy like you has to use such profound words to try and get a point across. Once again, you loose, go worry about yourself somewhere else.
(eekfu)

how do i lose? i proved you wrong....stage 1 is not the same as stock. end of discussion

If I do recall, I never argued that a stage 1 is any different than a stock. Go look at all the post I wrote in this thread
ALSO, you lose for the fact that you cannot even hold a conversation without losing your cool. You should really try to pick up on some communication skills.
