yep me car looks excatly the same way! didnt do a compression test though. The fuel smelling oil and little chunks of metal in the oil pan hint that its on its last leg. Im gonna drive it till it dies. Its NA now anyhow, then them money from selling the kit the stock motor goes in.
 
captain p5 the car does not run yet, but when I get all my parts and put it together we`ll see if it runs like "ass".
jurgs01 porting an intake mani is not so hard with the proper equip and also years of porting exp with rotary engines does come in handy so gasket machtching isn`t that ******* hard in this case (quality job).

i think he was refering to tease's car, but this is all speculative...(eyeballs)
 
Actually, the car has it's moments. When it's cool, it runs decently. I just can't put my foot in it to drop heavy in to boost. Other than that, it'll run fine.

However, starting the car warm or cold is now a chore, as it doesn't want to turn over for around 10 cranks. Then it may turn on but stumble right back down and stall out and after one more attempt it'll start up.

For that reason, I let the car run while I was doing some things the other day and when I got back, the car ran like absolute s***, I'm assuming from the heat. When leaving the parking lot, I barely made it past the exit, which is on top of a hill. Everytime I went in to gear to go, it'd stumble and nearly stall. I ended up having to get it up to around 4k and then slowly let out for it to get enough power to make it on to the road and then again when shifting in to 2nd. Pretty nerve-wrecking in traffic.
