07 MS3 Loud metallic squeal

It just started today and it seems that if I even slightly turn the wheel left while driving it goes away. Driving slowly (5-15 mph) the squeal gets really loud, embarrassingly loud. I called the dealer for an appt tomorrow but its really bad. Its like a rock got stuck in the calipers. When I tap on the brake it goes away for a second but then comes back. AAARGH

Ive got the same problem and cant figure it out. Started at about 8600 miles.

I have the same squeal or groan sound when turning at low speed. Mine is intermittent. I don't think that anyone has definitively identified the source, but I think it might be the LSD.

Mine is constant and really loud at times. Im gonna pull the wheel off tonite and see if theres something abnormal in there.

Also Haltech, why havent you taken it to the dealer yet?

Because i have a laundry list, along with a smoking turbo and a oil change coming up, so i made sure they have a turbo on hand to replace mine. Im not into leaving my car at the dealer at their convenience to await parts;

aaah i see. By the way, I guess it was a pebble wedged in there or something becuase, When i was coming home today, it got SUPER lud, like a siren almost, then went away. No more noise. Hm go figure.

Huh, when my car was new (<1K), one morning I left my driveway and heard a horrid metal sound. I immediately stopped and checked the drivers front tire. There was a score in the disk, and I assumed I had picked up some gravel from the pot hole fill they had just put on (and the next rain washed out). I put it in reverse, punched it and stopped hard (50 yards total travel), the drove forward normally. All was well, making me think I was right and it had cleared the stone. I've put on 10K miles since, with no repeats.
Dunno, but I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Arg, you guys are scaring me. Im about to turn over 7K in the next few days here. Please, let us know if you find out what it REALLY is for sure, so that if I hear it I can do something about it.

For everybody who had this problem, was your car still new or were some a bit older than others??

I have had the same problem...Its happened 2 times so far but always backing up and doing a sharp turn out of my driveway! Mine is a 08MSP3
